Mr. Yiangos Kleopas holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge and he is a member of MENSA International.

 

From 1975 to 2006 Mr. Kleopas worked for Marfin Laiki Group, rising up the ranks to become a member of the group’s senior management, retiring as the bank’s Divisional Director. After serving for 12 years as the President of the Coordinating Committee of the Radiomarathonios Charity Foundation, he is currently named as the Committees’s Honorary President. Mr. Kleopas has also been or is now a member of the executive boards of a number of associations and clubs, including the Cyprus AntiCancer Society, Human Rights Association, Famagusta Gymnasia Association, Laiki Retired, etc. He was a founding member of the Salamis Rotary Club. Since 2006, Mr. Kleopas writes theatre plays (Cypriot dialect) and books about the history of Famagusta.
